2025 Kalix Legacy Foundation Charity Classic Golf Tournament
The Kalix Legacy Golf Charity Classic is taking place on June 20th at 1pm at Collicutt Siding Golf Course located in Crossfield, Alberta. The event follows Texas Scramble rules and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, food and beverages at the holes, as well as prizes for participants. Additionally, the event offers a two-day silent auction to add to the excitement. Don't miss your chance to join in on the fun while supporting a great cause at the Kalix Legacy Golf Charity Classic.
Kalix Legacy Foundation Low Income Goalie Camp
Camp Description:
The Kalix Legacy Foundation is hosting the 2025 Free Goalie Camp for Low Income Albertan families! The camp this year is being held August 8-10 in Airdrie. It is a three-day immersive training experience designed to provide goaltenders with high-level coaching, mentorship, and skill development. This completely free camp offers specialized on-ice training, dryland conditioning, yoga for flexibility and mental focus, and exclusive mentorship opportunities with experienced coaches and special guests.
The camp is structured to help goalies refine their skills, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation for both on and off-ice success. Our dedicated volunteer coaches and staff are committed to providing an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance experience for all participants.
The Camp includes:
On-ice training
Dryland training
Yoga sessions
Mentorship opportunities
Special guest appearances
Snacks & lunch provided (for the goalies)
Camp gear (jersey, dryland shirt and shorts)
Application Process
To apply for the goal camp, please complete each section accordingly. Please note that at this time, only applicants residing in the province of Alberta will be eligible to participate in this camp. Applicants must have played at least one season in hockey as we are not a learn to skate program to be able to participate in our camp.
The camp is completely free to all attendees, so at this time we only have 24 spots available. We welcome all goaltenders to apply but please be aware that we will be choosing goaltenders based on financial needs first.

Acceptance Emails Sent: July 15, 2025
Note: We will require current 2024 tax filing documents to show financial need for approval into the camp.

The Kalix Legacy Charity Classic Celebration Banquet is taking place on June 22nd at 6 pm at the 525 Restaurant & Patio, located at 525 Woodside Drive NW, Airdrie. This event is a dinner and gathering for participants, sponsors, and possible celebrities. The banquet includes dinner and door prizes. This NHL experience event allows you to be part of a celebrity game, enjoy intermission entertainment and games, and catch live interviews with celebrity guests. Additionally, there will be prizes and a two-day silent auction to add to the excitement. Kalix's 23rd Birthday Online Auction
2023 BIRTHDAY AUCTION!
Kalix would've been 23 this year! To honour him, we are once again hosting a birthday auction and again with the help from Morrison Auctions!
So we are looking for donations both big and small! Donations will be accepted until October 20th.
The auction will run from October 23 to October 30, 2023.
We will announce our total funds raised on Kalix's birthday, November 1st.
All proceeds made from this event is going towards providing funding for Airdrie youth and families facing financial barriers accessing sports.
We can cover anywhere from 50% to 100% of the fees and equipment costs depending on the program or training, the applicant's financial situation, and on funds available. As all our funding is raised through sponsorships, donations, and fundraising, we look towards you, the community to help make Kalix's dream (and ours) of helping kids play sports a reality.
